About Mrs. Nagy

I was born and raised in Manchester, MO, and went to school in Parkway. First I attended Carman Trails, then South Middle, and finally graduated from South High! I enrolled at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO and graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in social sciences. I moved back to St. Louis to student teach at Wren Hollow Elementary in a 5th grade classroom. 

After student teaching, I served Barretts as the building TA. After that, I taught first grade for one year.  This will be my second year teaching fourth grade.  Currently I have teaching certification in elementary education and middle school social sciences, and I am working towards my Masters in Education with a Special Reading K-12 certificate.  

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cats, and family.  I'm sure the students will hear a lot about my cats, Nyx and Luna.  We also enjoying spending time with our 3 year old niece and our nephew, who is also in 4th grade this year!  I am also very passionate about healthy cooking, the outdoors, and learning.

I am really looking forward to the wonderful experiences we will have this year in fourth grade.  I can't wait until we see what this school year has in store for us!
